sort_keys=False.
The sort_keys parameter was added in PyYAML 5.1 (released March 2019).
The workaround was added in 24b82cd201e21060fbc02117dc16d1702877a1f3
(refs #30159).

Handling for PyYAML not being able to serialize `datetime.time`
values is moved from `handle_field` to `_value_from_field` as only
non-primary key, non-relation fields are passed into `handle_field`.

Thanks Beuc for the report and the initial patch.

In all those occurrences, we didn't care about preserving the
lazy status of the strings, but we really wanted to obtain a
real bytestring.
|
|
* Renamed smart_unicode to smart_text (but kept the old name under
Python 2 for backwards compatibility).
* Renamed smart_str to smart_bytes.
* Re-introduced smart_str as an alias for smart_text under Python 3
and smart_bytes under Python 2 (which is backwards compatible).
Thus smart_str always returns a str objects.
* Used the new smart_str in a few places where both Python 2 and 3
want a str.

Thanks fourga38 for the report and hirokiky at gmail.com for the
initial patch.

This is also more Python 3 compatible, as the json module in
Python 3 is expecting text. Thanks Vinay Sajip for noticing it.

Thanks jpaugh64 for the report.

Also replaced StringIO.StringIO by BytesIO in some other appropriate
places. StringIO is not available in Python 3.

Thanks Clueless for the initial patch.
Note that unittest has been purposely left out (external package only used by Python 2.6).

that was introduced in r17469. Also only test the YAML serializer if PyYAML is installed.

This monster of a patch is the result of Alex Gaynor's 2009 Google Summer of Code project.
Congratulations to Alex for a job well done.
Big thanks also go to:
* Justin Bronn for keeping GIS in line with the changes,
* Karen Tracey and Jani Tiainen for their help testing Oracle support
* Brett Hoerner, Jon Loyens, and Craig Kimmerer for their feedback.
* Malcolm Treddinick for his guidance during the GSoC submission process.
* Simon Willison for driving the original design process
* Cal Henderson for complaining about ponies he wanted.
... and everyone else too numerous to mention that helped to bring this feature into fruition.

time types out of the box. I've worked around the bug by coercing times to strings,
which is far from perfect. However, it's better than a Python-specific "!!python/time" type which would break interoperability (which was the goal of switching to the safe mode in the first place).

serializer will only be enabled if PyYAML is installed, so I've not written any unit tests until I figure out how to make them work similarly. Still, the serializer is just a thin layer over the base Python serializer, and seems to Just Work.
