don’t bother splitting long lines when sending to it.

(server-edit-abort): Append newline to -error commands, too.
Otherwise emacsclient has no reliable way to find the end of the
error command’s argument, except to wait for EOF which is
undesirable since the Emacs server keeps the socket open
for a while, waiting for emacsclient to exit.

This introduces the predicate frame-initial-p, which uses
struct frame.output_method or struct terminal.type to detect
initial_terminal without relying on its name (bug#80629).

Extend emacs server protocol for empty arguments
An empty argument is represented by &0. On the receiving side, &0 is
replaced by nothing.

In case we have a "storm" of emacsclient requests coming at the
same time, our process filters ended up running nested within
each other, eating up the stack and causing errors. Try and be
more careful with our use of `sit-for` in the process filter,
and make sure our process filters are run one at a time.

Passing arbitrary arguments to functions through
"emacsclient --eval" sometimes requires complicated escaping
to avoid them being parsed as Lisp (as seen in
emacsclient-mail.desktop before this change).
The new variable 'server-eval-args-left' allows access to the
arguments before they are parsed as Lisp. By removing
arguments from the variable before they're parsed, a snippet
of Lisp can consume arguments, as in emacsclient-mail.desktop.
org-protocol might be able to use this as well, which might allow it
to drop its current advice on server-visit-files.

that the SERVER argument to server-eval-at was ignored.

This changes the meaning of the (formerly internal) variable
'server-stop-automatically': it now always holds the requested
configuration, even when Emacs was not started as a daemon
(bug#59668).

Previously, if 'server-stop-automatically' was configured for
'kill-terminal' or 'delete-frame', killing a client via

last client, as described in the manual (bug#51993).
